Next year the seasonal games of the US professional baseball league “Boston” will be held in Japan. The first game will feature the Boston Red Sox (the World Series champion) and the Oakland A’s. The game will take place on March 25 and 26 at the Tokyo Dome. Both the Boston Red Sox and the Oakland A’s will play seasonal games outside North America for the first time. The organizers of the Baseball League are also planning to hold the games as a part of a season opening ceremony, featuring the Red Sox and the Oakland A’s team against Nippon Professional Baseball teams.
