Super base ball is a video game that was released in 1991 in Japan. The robots in the video game have powerful armor, jet packs and computer sensors to enable them to perform well. The players play in the Cyber egg stadium designed for them. The super baseball game follows the basic rules of baseball. There have however been some upgrades and improvements.

Super baseball is very different from the real game of baseball. It is also very different from the video games of baseball. There are male and female players as well as robots that play the game.  The three categories of players have similar abilities and differ in personal strengths only. In most of the cases the human baseball players perform better than the robot players. The robot players can however blow up and lose their power if they are made to play very hard during the game. If they have to constantly dive, run or get hit they have a good chance of losing their power. These players would under no circumstance become powerless naturally. If that happens in any case, the robots can be either powered or be replaced with another player. The human players on the other hand would never blow up and retain their power in the game.

The Florida Marlins can build a new 37,000-seat stadium with a retractable roof, 300 club seats and 60 suites for $389.4 million, documents show.
The team has already retained the services of the world-wide architectural firm of HOK Sport of Kansas City, MO, whose clients include other Major League Baseball clubs, the National Football League, along with soccer and rugby teams and universities.
The teamis expected to choose from among three designs for the new ballpark.
The team shall be the guarantor of the Stadium Developer’s obligation to pay any and all costs of planning, designing, acquiring constructing and equipping the baseball stadium that exceed the stadium project budget, including payment of any and all costs for claims.
The budget allocates $389.4 million for construction, $4.2 million to furnish the stadium and $131 million for planning and design.

Gwinnett County approved a plan Tuesday to build a new stadium in the booming Atlanta suburbs closer to home for the 2009 season. The Gwinnett Braves will play just up I-85 from the big league club.  Richmond has been the home of Atlanta’s Triple-A team since the franchise moved from Milwaukee in 1966.  .The R-Braves will spend one final season in Virginia before leaving for Gwinnett.The move follows a trend of big league clubs putting minor league affiliates within their own markets. The success of teams such as the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders and Class-A Brooklyn Cyclones persuaded Atlanta to move its Triple-A team.

The Kansas City Royals will be busy on their side of the state. The team get ready for their Royals FanFest this weekend at the Overland Park . This will be a great opportunity to can meet new manager Trey Hillman and many Royals players. The Royals are  getting ready for their Royals caravan that gets started tomorrow. Trey Hillman, pitcher Brian Bannister, broadcasters Denny Matthews and Paul Splittorff will visit Cameron, Maryville and St. Joseph, Mo., on Wednesday, Jan. 16; Marshall, Jefferson City and Columbia, Mo., on Thursday, Jan. 17; and then attend the Baseball Forecast Luncheon in Kansas City on Jan. 18. John Buck, Brandon Duckworth and Luke Hochevar, Royals Hall of Famer Frank White and broadcaster Ryan Lefebvre will visit Fort Scott and Pittsburg, Kan., and Joplin, Mo., on Jan. 16; Bentonville, Rogers and Springdale, Ark.and Des Moines, Iowa, on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Justin Duchscherer  agreed  to a one-year deal Wednesday with the Oakland Athletics.He missed most of last season with a strained right hip but was an all-star in 2005, going 7-4 with a 2.21 ERA in 65 games. Duchscherer was one of four arbitration-eligible players on the Oakland roster, along with starters Joe Blanton and Chad Gaudin and reliever Huston Street.Duchscherer appeared in 17 games last season.

Pete Mackanin has taken a job with the New York Yankees as a major league scout. Mackanin was Cincinnati’s advance scout when manager Jerry Narron was fired on July 1. The Yankees expressed an interest in Mackanin after baseball’s winter meetings in December.
