Major League Baseball (MLB) has the record of highest-level play in North America professional baseball. Major League Baseball is officially a single league in North America in 2000 after the disbanding of National and American Leagues. It is one of the most popular leagues, which play almost 163 matches every season which makes it a major professional sports league. There is a latest controversy going on between the MLB and the umpires which revolves around the issue that umpires are really furious on the team of investigators which are sent to their hometowns by MLB. John Hirschbeck the president of the World Umpire Association, said on the telephonic interview that MLB asked different unethical questions from neighbors like does Ump belongs to Klu Klux Klan, relationship with their wives and drug usage etc. While Major League Baseball strongly denied responsibility of the sending of security department to their hometowns and of asking “inappropriate” questions. Jimmie Lee Solomon the vice president of MLB said in an interview that there was the written questionnaire given to people related to them and the investigators never portrayed any sort of inappropriate behavior. The investigation has also shown that these claims are inappropriate.
