The slugger of the Seattle Mariners team Richie Sexson has been suspended from playing six games for his team by the Major League Baseball for charging the mound and throwing the helmet on Texas pitcher Kasan Gabbard last Thursday night. Sexson has asked the players association to go for an appeal against the ban and wants his suspension to be delayed until the hearing of his case. The reason for the super duel between Sexson and Gabbard is a throw that was eye high for slugger and was over the plate than being inside. Seattle manager John McLaren felt that the ban was long due to the helmet incident and the fans will be missing the hitter for a week
