The calf injury that slugger Albert Pujols sustained in the game against Cincinnati Reds has now put him on a 15 day disabled list with the St. Louis Cardinals. The management has recalled Chris Duncan to start as the first baseman as a replacement for Pujols in its upcoming games. The MRI scan on his calf has showed signs of muscle strains and he could be possibly out of action for a minimum of 3 weeks. The manager of the Cardinals Tony La Russa is expecting that Pujols recovers pretty fast after undergoing the physiotherapy treatment. Pujols fans who had bought tickets to watch him play will have to settle watching the game without their super baseball player in action.
