The Milwaukee Brewers are in the play offs! The last time the Brewers made it to the play offs was 26 years ago. The last time was 1982. Fans have something to be happy about as the play off cold streak is over. The Brewers are going to be the underdogs in the play off games. Maybe this will be to their advantage. What helped the Brewers gain their seat at the play offs this year was their three to one win over the Chicago Cubs this past Sunday.

With an amazing series against the Chicago White Sox, the Minnesota Twins made a remarkable showing at the three game series. Game after game, the Twins showed the Sox how to play ball and then some. What helped make the Twins’ sweep better was that is happened right at home at the Metrodome. Now the Minnesota Twins are in first place, all thanks to their great skills on the field and positive attitude in the dugout. Way to go Twins!

Baseball fans are sitting on the edge of their seats, especially if their teams are up for a shot at the playoffs. The White Sox keep winning and losing games, giving their fans a health dose of anxiety. The Cubs, let me repeat that, the Chicago Cubs have landed a spot in the land of playoffs. Cub fans must be ecstatic about this news. On another note, the Milwaukee Brewers playoff schedule may not happen as their playing needs to improve if they want to be seen in October.

The Milwaukee Brewers have to face off with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs. This translates to two more teams, six more games, and then it’s off to the playoffs! Be sure to check the Brewers playoff schedule to stay up to date. Tickets for the playoffs are limited and sell out fast. The Milwaukee versus Pittsburgh series begins September 23 through September 25, 2008. Followed by the Chicago Cubs series, scheduled from September 26 to 28, 2008. The action for both series will take place at Miller Park.
